Teresa Noreen- whats she up to now?
I previously posted about Teresa Noreen’s entry in the Antonia Bayle look-alike contest for EverQuest. She didn’t get selected, but it seems like Teresa’s modelling career didn’t suffer for the loss at all.

Kansas has enacted new laws to permit instruction in “Intelligent Design” (I.E. God created Earth and all life 6,000 years ago…) in schools. At first, I was horrified by this: school is for instruction in math, sciences, literature and history, not for the teaching of faith masquerading as fact. But then, I was enlightened: I have become a Pastifarian.
I’m catching up on some reading while I’m sick with the flu. I finished reading “The Da Vinci Code”, which was a lot better than I expected. Basically, a mystery novel with a bit of the old conspiracy theory “fantasy” mixed in, combined with what seemed to be impeccable fact finding to provide just the right level of reality.
I’m worn out and tired today. I’m feeling like I’m starting to catch a cold. It rained all day, and my car still isn’t fixed.

Two secretaries at an Australian law firm lost their jobs a few days ago. Apparently they exchanged a series of escalating emails (read the series of emails from the bottom up) that all started with one of the secretaries either misplacing or having her lunch stolen.
I came across this article earlier today by some guy who I don’t know about some other guys I don’t know and how the other guys blogs no longer rule the Blogosphere or something.
On August 6, 60 years ago, Hiroshima was written into history in the worst way possible. It became the first city to be struck by a nuclear weapon. Three days later, Nagasaki became the second and last city to earn such distinction.
I have previously mentioned the contest to find a model to represent EQ2’s main heroine, Antonia Bayle. I also think I made my preference for the woman to represent the Queen of Qeynos fairly clear.
I have to admit to occasionally having difficulty understanding why the line “it was a dark and stormy night” is subject to such derision in literary circles. I mean, seriously: it doesn’t sound that bad. It almost sounds like something I might write. Oh…
